Welcome to The Lullaby Project!

Our Vision

The Lullaby Project is a group of volunteers who sew blankets for babies in need both locally and throughout the world.

There are so many children that need our help.  We hope that our blankets can provide some comfort and love so they will know that someone cares.

Friendship in Action

The Lullaby Project was founded in late 2012 through the aspirations of Cindy Kilgore and Seema Wadhwa.

Cindy and Seema development a bond during their time working together in the healthcare industry.

.

Since the Lullaby Project made its first delivey in Febraury, 2013 we have delivered over 2,000 baby blankets (as of 12/15).

                          What's Happening

Please consider donating....

We are always looking for fabric donations. If you have some material you would like to donate please contact me at cakilgore2010@gmail.com

Our ideals size of material is a yard to a yard and a half.  Any washable material such as cotton, flannel or seersucker would be appropriate.  However, any material can be pieced together to make a cozy blanket.

If you would like sew, knit or crochet blankets for the Lullaby Project, that would be appreciated also.

We hope that everyone's 2016 is getting off to a good start.

We have been so proud of our friendship with the Brothers Brother Foundation.  Not only have we provided blankets and caps for their birhting kits, but we have assembled the kits. With the new year, we are only going to be sewing blankets and knitting caps for the birthing kits.  We have given up the assembly part so we will have more time to sew.  We continue to hear that the birthing kits that go overseas have been invaluable in providing care for delivering moms.  We will continue to support the efforts of Brother's Brother's Foundation in the wonderful mission work they do.

Do you like to sew? Do you like to knit? If you are interested in helping, please contact me at cakilgore2010@gmail.com.

There are so many people to thank - THANK YOU!

Guidling Principles

*  To know that a baby in need is a baby in need and distribute     equally within the United States and other countries.

*  To be a steward of the environment by using material that is       no longer needed by others and mixing it with new materia

    to make blankets.

*  To maintain a hand carry distribution model to our recipients.

*  To remain organic in growth and connected to others who

   can help.

We cannot live for ourselves alone.  Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads, and along these sympathetic fibers, our actions run as causes and return to us as results.
